Jean came across the photo of the team for the Indoor Bowl, and she recognised these people there.
Let’s take a closer look at the photo. We have the ever-reliable Gordon Wood, a mystery lady we hope to identify soon, and the dynamic duo Leslie Wood, Eric Wood, and Allan Dance or Ivan Churchfield.

Jean conversed with Jacek during lunchtime at the Circus Eatery Cafe in Leamington, Cambridge, NZ. I’ve put a video here.

The Indoor Bowl members are smaller than in the old days—there are only six surviving members today: Ketih and Sally, Jacek, Diane, Graham, and Kathryn. Jacek is the youngest member, as he is over 70 years old.

Jean will have to pursue more stories and details from them as soon as possible. Two Deaf members live in Auckland, and Jean will have to travel to Auckland one day.

Note Jacek is speech-impaired with cerebral palsy and is deaf. You may find it difficult to understand his conversation the first time. Then why not learn more from this person who has CP and Deaf with speech impairment anywhere?
